Quality isn't a feature. It's a non-negotiable foundation.
I have mixed feelings about being the strict one on every call. Part of me wishes vendors would stop seeing quality checks as a hurdle and start seeing them as a safety net. Another part knows that's just the reality of a market where "cheap" becomes the magic word.
