Fabric Quality Isn't About Good vs Bad—It's About Specifications

I'll say it plainly: most fabric quality arguments are really specification arguments. People want to know “is Lycra good?” or “is viscose safe?” and the honest answer is: it depends on what the fabric was designed to do. My job is to make sure it does that.

I'm a quality and brand compliance manager at a textile company. I review every shipment before it reaches customers—roughly 200 lots per year.
